Our wholesale plant list includes more that 1000 species and cultivars of perennials and bulbs. Many other varieties might be obtained simply by asking about availability. We also contract with a number of local growers who custom grow for us hard to get or difficult to ship varieties in liner form. Many of these varieties are plants produced by tissue culture. This eliminates the disease problems commonly found in field grown counterparts. Almost all of these liners are shipped dormant. These can be easily substituted for bare root divisions.
The traditional shipping season runs from January thru early May.
Because we have made major investments in cold storage we are able to ship fully dormant plants anytime. Our customers can be assured to receive plants in good condition when they want, not just when the supplier decides to ship or the container arrives from overseas. Shipping is done the most cost effective way.
Generally the freight runs 10% or less of invoice total. Most of the time even significantly less. Customer pickup is available for local customers. This is the most cost effective way to get your material especially if you can backhaul them. Please give us at least 24 hours prior to pickup
